There is no doubt that David and Victoria Beckham live a fancy life. They have stayed in some of the world’s most luxurious hotels. Let’s look at five fancy places they’ve been, from early vacation spots to wedding sites and ski resorts.
1. Beckham First Trip with Victoria: Splendido Hotel in Portofino, Italy
It was their first trip together, and it was to Portofino, Italy, on the Italian Riviera, in 1997. They stayed at the Splendido Hotel, which was built on a cliff and had grounds all around it. It had a view of the harbour and the Ligurian Sea. According to Victoria Beckham, it was “romantic and private.” Rich and famous people have been going to this hotel since the 1950s. It is now owned by the high-end Belmond group. It is currently being fixed up, and when it reopens in the summer of 2024, the swimming pool area, the Splendido Grill patio restaurant, and The Baronessa Suite will all be better.
2. Rookery Hall in Cheshire, England
David Beckham asked Victoria to marry him at the Rookery Hall, a fancy country house hotel about an hour from Manchester, after they had been together for ten months. Since then, the hotel has grown by getting a health club, a spa, and more rooms for guests. The rooms have a mix of old and new furniture and have views of the hotel’s large grounds and woods. The modern British food at Rookery Hall is served in an eatery with mahogany wood walls.
3. Beckham and Victoria Wedding: Luttrellstown Castle in Dublin, Ireland
A beautiful wedding took place at Luttrellstown Castle in 1999. The castle is in nearly 600 acres of grounds on the outskirts of Dublin. The castle has 20 rooms and suites, each one designed in soft colours and high-end fabrics. There is an 18-hole championship golf course there. David Beckham and his best man, Gary Neville, played there to calm down before their wedding.
4. Ritz-Carlton, Paris, France
They stayed at the nearby Ritz Paris or the Hotel Costes when they went to Paris a lot in the 1990s. The couple goes back to the French city on more than one occasion. Nicole chose the name Suite 302 for her new perfume because it was their favourite room at the Ritz. In 2016, the hotel got a big makeover that combined its neoclassical style from the 18th century with current features like Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The Ritz recently updated its Ritz Spa and opened a new restaurant called Espadon. Eugénie Béziat is the first woman to work as a cook at the Ritz.
5. Aman Le Mélézin in Courchevel 1850, France
After hearing about David Beckham’s supposed affair, the couple stuck together on a planned ski trip to Courchevel 1850. The town is only 1850 metres above sea level, but its name includes that number for marketing purposes.
The Beckhams have been to this posh ski town in the Trois Vallées many times. They’ve recently stayed at Aman Le Mélézin, which is right on the Bellecôte piste. Each room has a fireplace and a view of the mountains.
The hotel has a spa, a swimming pool, and an exercise centre. It reopens on December 8 for the winter season. It also has Nama, a famous Japanese restaurant that the Beckhams have seen enjoying. And then, they like to eat lunch at La Soucoupe, a restaurant on the hills that specialises in grilled meats.
You might not be able to live exactly like the Beckhams, but these amazing places can give you a taste of their high-class adventures.
